Choosing a dental product:

First and foremost, only choose a dental product that has been approved by the US Health and Drug Administration as safe for use. Use only branded products, or those recommended by your by dental professional, orthodontist or doctor.

Do not purchase dental products over the web unless you are absolutely sure you are being sold legitimate products from a known source. Many sites sell pirated products, which do not always contain the same active ingedients, or may have substitued ingedients that may damage teeth and even cause skin iritations.

Make sure you use any dental product according to their recommended guidelines - seek advice if unsure. Do not over use certain products as this again can damage teeth and gums (i.e. teeth whiteners, electric toothbushes).

It is possible to buy certain pieces of dental equipment and tools - only use if you are competent to do so since misuse may cause damage and additional cost to rectify. Do not use these implements on other persons.

Do not use dental products and equipment other than for the purpose they have been designed.
